Store Policies
By placing an order with Tink's Sweet Shoppe, you acknowledge and agree to all of the below terms and conditions.
Payment Policy

A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to be placed on my calendar. This retainer must be paid within 48 hours of receiving the invoice or your spot may be forfeited unless otherwise discussed during the ordering process. At the time of ordering, please provide me your email address (if you have not already done so) so that I can send you an invoice.

Final payment is due the day prior to pickup/delivery. If you fail to make payment by this date, your order may be cancelled and your retainer will be forfeited.

Orders placed less than 2 weeks before event date will require 100% payment up front and may be subject to a rush fee.
Cancellation Policy

Orders must be cancelled no less than 10 days prior to the event to receive a refund of 50% of the order. Orders cancelled with less than 10 days to the event forfeit all funds paid at that time.

I reserve the right to resell any custom item(s) completed if a order is cancelled with less than a 10 days notice.

Should an emergency occur on the part of Tink's Sweet Shoppe, in which your order cannot be completed, you will be refunded in full any payment or retainer made. Tink's Sweet Shoppe will notify you as soon as possible should this occur.

Design Policy

Any changes to the order must be made in writing and requested no less than 10 days in advance of the event date to be considered based upon my discretion. Changes requested after this point are not guaranteed.

While I do love to see inspiration photos to understand your design concept, I cannot replicate cookies or cakes done by another baker/artist. This is plagiarism and just not nice! I can however, utilize pictures as inspiration and will provide you with alternative designs.

To keep the integrity of the design created by Tink's Sweet Shoppe, no changes in anyway to the original product is allowed unless it is done by me.

Copyright also prevents me from duplicating logos unless I have received written permission from the company who owns the logo.

Disney: the short answer is that Disney owns the intellectual property of their characters, popular phrases, and other artistry featured throughout their content. Making an item(s) would infringe on their right and expose me to the risk of legal action. This is a risk I'm just not willing to make. Although we all love the house of mouse, I personally will not do Disney characters, instead I will offer a themed design that will hopefully make both of us happy.
Pick up Policy

Local dessert orders are available for porch pick-up only (I’ll share the address when you place your order) at a day and time that works best for both of us. Delivery is reserved just for weddings and very large cakes — because those deserve a special touch! For those, I’m happy to travel up to 15 miles from my home in Cincinnati. Delivery fees are $20 plus 70¢ per mile (round trip) within a 10-mile radius, and if it’s a bit farther, we’ll chat about the details when you order.

Presale pick-ups happen during a 2-hour window on the date and time you select at checkout. If that time doesn’t fit your schedule, just give me a shout and we’ll find a better pick-up time.

Due to cottage laws in OH, I am not able to ship outside of the state. But if you plan to handle shipping yourself, just let me know when ordering! I’ll package your goodies with care and an extra sprinkle of love, ready for you to send them on their way (additional fees may apply).
Refund Policy

If you’re not completely happy with your order, please return your dessert(s) within 24 hours, and they must be at least 80% intact for a refund to be considered.

Refunds are given on a CASE BY CASE basis. the 50% retainer paid when placing your order is non-refundable. The remaining balance may be offered as store credit at my discretion. No cash refunds are given.
Allergy Warning

While Tink's Sweet Shoppe follows all applicable guidelines for avoiding cross-contamination in the kitchen, I cannot ensure that your order will not come into contact with common kitchen allergens which may include but are not limited to: eggs, nuts, soy, peanuts, milk, wheat, fish, and/or shellfish.

Please notify Tink's Sweet Shoppe of all allergies before submitting payment for your order so that we may discuss whether or not your allergy needs can be accommodated. You are responsible for notifying all consumers of your order (all people at a party, for example) the potential for all products to contain common allergens. Tink's Sweet Shoppe is not liable for any allergic reactions that may occur. As a home bakery, Tink's Sweet Shoppe products and kitchen are not inspected by the Ohio Department of Health or the local health department.
