Tink's Sweet Shoppe is here to help! In this two (2) hour class, we'll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so - yes, it's beginner friendly!).
You will:

Practice piping with royal icing

Talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies

Cover the general concepts around dough and icing
Everything you'll need is provided at the class along with a live in-person instructor - just bring a smile (and maybe an apron). You'll Leave class with a great understanding of the basics of sugar cookies plus a few cool techniques we'll cover in the class!
Allergens: Eggs, dairy, gluten, and nuts are present in the kitchen used to bake these cookies and icing. Please consider your allergies before registering.
About the classes
This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you're trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you! I will be doing fun themes each month that tastes amazing and will look even better once you’ve completed your decorating!
I provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home in...
I just need YOU!
Each to-be-baker gets 6 cookies, 4 icing colors, and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park!
Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!
Each class will start right on time so we can have enough time to decorate and answer along the way. Come by yourself, bring your best friend, your spouse or all your friends! It's a blast whether you're coming with a friend, family member, or solo!
Classes are good for ages 8 and up (21 and over when held at certain locations - see class schedule for more details), but if you'd like to leave the kiddos at home, purchase an add-on kit (more on that below)! The kits are great for kids at home.
About Me
A little about me – I’ve been baking sugar cookies since October 2020 – and I’ve not put down a scribe since (don’t know what a scribe is? I’ll teach you in class!). My favorite cookie themes to decorate are colorful, girly, and unique – but I can do pretty much anything if icing’s involved. I love what I do –who wouldn’t love making cookies?! It’s the sweetest job in the world!
